Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My father was an amateur photographer, and my mother let me get my hands on her Yashica 35mm at a pretty young age, so my love of photography was cultivated at an early age. But it wasn’t until a friend of mine showed me a photograph she took of her dog (her name was Molly. I think she was a pug mix) that ignited a genuine spark. The rim light was superb, and the shallow focus was beautiful. It was at that moment, seeing that photo, that I decided to pursue my photography passion in earnest.

I love many different types of photography: landscape, sports/action, still life, product, astrophotography. But just there’s something special about portraits - capturing faces, feeling, and emotion is so fascinating to me.
